Joelle Mertzel

President & Founder

Joelle Mertzel is the Founder and President of Kitchen Concepts Unlimited LLC. She is the inventor of Butterie, the world’s only 1-piece butter dish and the creator of IncrediBulb, the world’s only flexible light bulb.  


However, Joelle’s proudest accomplishment is creating a happy, energetic and supportive work environment in which every employee


Cruz Lopez

Warehouse Manager

Cruz Lopez is the Warehouse Manager at Kitchen Concepts. In 2018, Cruz came to our office for a one-day project and, once Carlos and Joelle saw how incredible he was, we unanimously agreed, “He’s not leaving!” So a one-day job has lasted 2 years and we could not imagine life without him. 


Every single item we sell makes it to its destination because of Cruz. He is  


Jen Catilo

Administrator, Key Accounts

Jen Catilo is the Administrator to Key Accounts at Kitchen Concepts. Her role is managing our key accounts, such as Walmart, Bed Bath, and Amazon. When Jen is not buried in a sea of 4 x 6 shipping labels, you can find her doing administrative tasks on Quickbooks.


She also loves filing our paperwork and organizing our storage room and office supply closet. Jen comes into work 


Talar LaSalle

Graphic Designer &
Admin Assistant 

Talar LaSalle is the Graphic Designer and Administrative Assistant at Kitchen Concepts. She tackles all of our design projects including, product packaging, email campaigns, and marketing materials. Talar manages our social media accounts creating content to share with our followers all across the country. She also runs our eCom store processing orders and providing exceptional customer service when 


Gio Gomez

Public Relations Associate

Gio Gomez is the Public Relations Associate at Kitchen Concepts. His role is to help carry out Butterie’s initiative to eliminate consumer confusion about keeping butter on the counter. Gio turned into a butter crusader after joining the team and experiencing the life-changing shift to keeping soft butter on the counter.
